So…is it just me or are CNN conversations reminiscent of Bravo reality show reunions? I just watched Paris Dennard throw HEAVY shade at Joan Walsh on Erin Burnett’s OutFront on CNN. When Burnett asked Dennard if he agreed with Trump’s claim that there were good people on both sides of the Charlottesville protest, in true Paris fashion, Dennard denounced the actions of the white supremacists, but refused to outright agree/disagree with the question Burnett posed to him.

Dennard asserted that the media–shocker– is to blame for giving racists a platform (because the general existence of the internet doesn’t count). When Walsh continued to ask Dennard questions that essentially would make him have to agree or disagree with Burnett’s original statement, he got UPSET. Dennard proceeded to berate Walsh with statements like: “this is not your show”, “get your own show, and maybe I’ll come on it to answer questions”, and “how about you get your own show if you’re even qualified to do that” (using my memory here, but this is fairly accurate paraphrasing). Yikes! First of all, Paris, you are a guest on Erin Burnett OutFront, please act accordingly. The deflecting, dodging, attacking people’s character, and other accompanying shenanigans are neither respected, nor appreciated.

Bottom line, I did not like how Dennard treated Walsh or Burnett (he insinuated that Burnett was messing with him). Just answer the question Paris, it’s that simple. But, that’s just my two cents.
